PEOPLE IN MOCEAN:Craig Murray(CEO)Craig Murray is the CM in CMP, which actually is the parent company of mOcean, though if that news ever leaked out, peoples' heads would undoubtedly explode.Craig would like to thank his wife, his three girls, his boat, his alma mater, his senior managers and the over 100 talented, dedicated, fun-loving mOceanaires for making it the exciting, kick-ass agency it is today. Michael McIntyre(President)Michael founded mOcean in 2000, which makes it sound like he's an explorer. He can live with that. He also counts himself as one of the lucky few who loves what he does and gets to work every day with immensely talented and super nice people...who wrote this for him.Michael spends his down time being a trophy husband, collecting clown paintings and going commando.Kevin Aratari(EVP, Worldwide Entertainment Marketing)He lives in Long Beach, and everyone thinks he's crazy for making the commute from a place that may as well be in Nevada. But he doesn't care, he and Snoop Dogg are happy there.Scott Goldman(EVP Theatrical)Son of a Jewish architect from Chicago and Amish singing sensation from Pennsylvania, Scott had Hollywood written all over him. At age 18, he packed up his '76 Ford Econoline van and traveled across America in search of freedom (think Easy Rider, minus the cocaine and motorcycle.)After years as a professional game show contestant (Win Lose Or Draw & America's Funniest People) Scott finally found his calling. Training porn editors how to use an Avid. When not listening to German 60's lounge music, shooting portrait photography, or creating semi-offensive materials for Borat, Scott prides himself on making friends do spit-takes whenever possible.Dave Yerxa(SVP Executive Creative Director)After a high-school aptitude test recommended he pursue a career in taxidermy, Dave settled for the next best thing—advertising. He lives in Woodland Hills with his wife, two children and various rabbits, possums and coyotes.Even though he has sent over 100 theatrical trailers out into the world, whenever he encounters a stuffed moose head, he canÂ’t help but wonder “what if?”Richard Redfield(SVP Executive Creative Director)Richard has a mysterious past about which little is known. He knows a lot more than he lets on, and is very modest about his unusual powers, which include the ability to move objects with his mind, though he chooses not to for the most part. He has produced many trailers, too numerous to remember.Peter McKeon(Creative Director)Although Peter is new to the mOcean staff, he has freelanced with mOcean for years, both writing and art directing, which eventually lead to directing and creative directing award winning campaigns.Peter got his start simultaneously going to USC film school and shooting and editing for director Stacy Peralta. From there he moved into Commercial Art direction, in which he worked with such directors as Herb Ritts, Samuel Bayer, Joe Carnahan, and Roman Coppala on such campaigns as Cadillac, The Gap, Dominoes, GMC, LA Ink......Peter is currently off to direct spots in Chicago then Africa and will complete his bio upon his return.Danielle LaFortune(VP of Print Creative Services)Danielle lives in Burbank with her beautiful daughter Quinn and a menagerie of animals (because she is unable to say no to aforementioned daughter). She spends her spare time pursuing her love of reading and cooking. She likes long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners, and... Oh, wait that’s for a different website.Greg Hollander(EVP)When Greg isn’t dutifully basking in beautiful Downtown Burbank, he likes to cruise the streets of his hometown Westlake Village on his motorcycle. Greg is happily married with 2 children. He loves to cook and smokes a mean rack of baby back ribs. Greg’s most memorable day at the office? When he spent 8 full hours coming up with MPAA friendly alt names for female genitalia.Jay Williams(SVP)A Midwestern boy on his own, after 18+ years on the client side, Jay joined the Dark Side in 2006 and never looked back...His favorite movie is “Ferris BuellerÂ’s Day Off” which he refers to as life changing! He lives in Santa Clarita with his wife, three children, four dogs, a guinea pig, six lizards and several goldfish that have long outlived their warranty!Bueller...Bueller....Roshone Harmon(VP Finance/Adminstration)Client liaison for all theatrical, home entertainment and content budgeting and contracts. When she'Â’s not dealing with client budgeting and billing needs, she spends her downtime collecting shoes, handbags, clothes and jewelry. It has gotten so bad that her husband has threatened to submit video of her stuff to Hoarders: Buried Alive!Pam Postrel(Executive Producer)Pam has been rowing the high seas of movie advertisingdom for many a moon, and, after 21 years, totally seems to be getting the hang of it! She is addicted to the internet. It feeds her thirst for information, her hunger for gossip, and her Hefty bag of neuroses. She lives in South Pasadena with her amazing family, including her very own 12-14 year-old focus group.Paul Nash(VP Special Events)So you want to junket at a working race track? Need a freezer truck so the press can see their own breath? Maybe you want to cover your entire event over the internet. Call Paul! (insert jingle here) For over 17 years Paul and his crew have changed the level at which press junkets are done world-wide. All from the comfort of always being on the road. He wouldn’t have it any other way.J.M. Kenny(VP Executive Producer Creative Director)J.M. Kenny brings vast experience in the realm of Creative Content and Production to mOcean. He has spent 18 years working on everything from feature films to producing creative content for every major studio in town.He also brings a great knowledge of all fad diets and the dangers of high fructose corn syrup!!Alan Ireland(VP Creative Director)Alan Ireland. From Scotland. To America. By way of England. He's a Creative Director who lives with two ankle-biters and his lovely trouble and strife.A little bit Arctic Monkey, a little bit Trainspotting and a little bit Robert Carlyle.Amy Allison(Director of Game Marketing)She comes to mOcean with a video game publisher background and knows how to rock all of your AV needs. Likes include dressing her daughter in ridiculous outfits & buying things that look like other things (ex. A stapler that looks like an alligator). Dislikes include not making it to a save point in her games & putting crunchy stuff in soft food (ex. nuts in bread).Chris Sturgeon(VP Strategic Solutions)Air Force brat. Southern transplant. Knoxville (Go Vols!). USC Film school. Screenwriter. Poverty. Advertising. Copywriter. Internet. DNA Studio. Boom. Crash. Survived. Blitz. Big. And, now… mOcean. He loves marketing almost as much as cooking, so if you ever get a chance to try his pho, do it. It’s like being in Saigon but without the humidity.Heather Kreamer(Music Supervisor)heatherk@moceanla.comHeather has always been obsessed with music, spending her entire weekly allowance as a child on 45's. Heather enjoys her job so much that sometimes she can't believe that music supervision is even a paying position (please don't tell her). She lives in Santa Monica, where she can often be found looking for dolphins, protesting injustice, or making raw chocolates.Lisa Miller(Executive Producer)lisa@mocean.tvLisa Miller is responsible for cultivating network and commercial business for mOcean. Prior to joining our team, she was the Senior Executive Producer at Citizen Pictures where she managed the production, design, and sales departments. With over 15 years of experience in production, post and broadcast design, her clients include Bravo, Discovery Channel, Food Network, HGTV, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather, and J. Elijah wakes at dawn to work on his novel and has his first crush. The crush has raven-black hair, says things like 'Macbeth sure was stupid for a thane', is epileptic and has an extra finger. A budding scifi writer's dream girl. Her daughter Angeline aka Charro learned her first curse words, the almighty ones, 'Mother Fuckers!' from Brooklyn's finest local baseball team 'The Drunkyard Dogs'.Candace works from home for mOcean and at her last review was asked by her supervisor to write, 'I cannot party with the rockstars' 1,000 times after...well, just ask me.John Ibsen(VP Creative)Don't think of him as a businessman. Think of him as a businessfriend. His government name is John Ibsen, but he is known across the land as ibby. He arrived at mOcean one beautiful, sunny spring day in 2009 and has never looked back. Except for that one time that guy came at him with that thing.Ibby enjoys sharing stories of his youth, pictures of his kids, and tales of confrontations on public transportation. He also relishes the feeling he gets building things and using his hands --recently completing a two step staircase in less than 48 hours. But most of all, he loves acting out spots with sound effects...claiming to have found the perfect whoosh. He is still waiting for the right time to unleash it upon the world.Sherri Jacobsen(Associate Creative Director)She spends her free time breeding hairless rabbits, writing inspirational palindromes and composing punk dirges for the electric mandolin. She is also known for her tendency to exaggerate when writing bios.Dave Thomas(Creative Director/ Live-Action Director/ Brand Strategist)As a Creative Director and Brand Strategist, Dave believes that brand, ultimately, is a visceral experience -- a feeling, an intuition. And crafting that experience is all about sensory impact: image, shape, color, texture, taste, & sound.Dave's wide variety of professional creative experience supports this philosophy. He holds degrees in Design, Music & Education, and has worked as creative director, live-action director, designer, editor, photographer and musician. He has also toured extensively in the US Europe and India as a Music Conductor.Dave has created or re-envisioned brands for clients like: The Discovery Channel, Creative Artists Agency, Sony Pictures Television, NBC, Warner Brothers Studios, The WB, Lifetime Television and Discovery Communications. He also has served as principal creative director and live-action director for award-winning projects, including: the re-brand of The Discovery Channel, ABC's Monday Night Football, the Emmy nominated main title sequence for The Young & The Restless, Discovery Channel's 20th Anniversary, and the signature on-air branding for Sony Pictures Television.Stuart Boone(Corporate VP of Operations and Security)Stuart has 20 years experience managing post production and reinventing workflows to address the unreasonable expectations of creative people, which, by the way, is creative. He is married, has two precocious teenagers, three cats (one blind) and three dogs of various sizes. He loves his job, which is cool, even if it is STILL hard to describe to his parents.Antonia King(Executive Producer Creative Content)Over the years, she has worked behind-the-scenes with a lot of artists at MTV and even snagged a musician herself, married him and in her spare time, you can find her rolling down the streets of Culver City with her husband and three kids in their supped up minivan. Or, if youÂ’re lucky, you can see her on re-runs of The Price As Right, Different Strokes and Britney FoxÂ’s “Girlschool” music video.Gregg Higgins(Creative Director, Print)Gregg carts his butt out all the way from Upland where he lives with his wife, 2 kids, 6 cats (YES, SIX!!) and 1 goldfish. When he's not out wrestling crocs or climbing Mt. Everest, you can find him in the studio, making and recording music.Nicole Broffman(Associate Producer)Nicole’s path to entertainment began in Northern Idaho when she was cast as the lead in the 6th grade Christmas show. When she’s not making TV spots and trailers, you’ll probably find Nicole outside in the California sunshine, with her family, or partaking in her favorite pastime, sleeping.Teresa Antista(Executive Producer)teresaa@moceanla.comAn L.A. Native, she's usually hanging out on set or somewhere with her two toddlers. Production is usually pretty jumping, which keeps things fun.Julie Pittman(Head Writer)All work and no play makes Julie a dull girl. All work and no play makes Julie a dull girl. All work and no play makes Julie and dull girl. All work and not play makes Julie a dull girl. All work and no play makes Julie a dull girl. Jon Berkas(Associate Producer)When he’s not at work, you can try to catch Jon carving the canyons on his motorcycle or laying down equally sick moves on the nearest Scrabble board. He’s happy to share his death-defying stories from either activity.Melinda Quigan(Director of Operations)Don't let the Hollywood glamour fool you, just because she has a team of photographers follow her everywhere, doesn't mean Melindas not down to earth. She's one of the few California natives, and grew up on the beach and sailing. If she had a choice between shopping on Rodeo or going to REI, REI wins every time!James DiGiovanni(Art Director)He spends his free time playing guitar, coaching Little League, avoiding yard work and trying to remember what it was like to take a nap. James also enjoys the occasional Scotch and boring his guests with pedantic historical facts. He currently resides in an undisclosed location in Pasadena with his wife and son and a Labrador retriever named Gracie.Jon Converse(VP Creative Director of Design)Jon oversees the conceptual development and production of motion graphic goodness for the Burbank theatrical division. He loves the films of Otto Preminger and the music of Ornette Coleman. His favorite animal is the giraffe.Troy Hutchinson(Writer/Associate Producer)Troy has parlayed a vast knowledge of pop culture, improvisational skills honed while training at the Groundlings, and a limitless supply of dick & fart jokes into a solid gold Success Rocket fueled by his flair for producing, his love of writing, his passion for pleasing, and his careful coddling of clients. If you would like to know more about Troy, friend him on Facebook so he can judge you. Jeremy Keeler(Producer)He lives in the town that is home to the longest operating McDonald's (Downey to you health nuts) and frequents it often after late night rock shows. That's right. ROCK. SHOWS. That he plays in with his band, New Maximum Donkey. Look them up but keep a safe distance; their brand of rock got them banned from a festival in Texas. F@*k you, Houston.Craig Oelrich(Associate Creative Director)As a native of Austin, TX, he is always in search of great live music and quality Tex-Mex. But now he lives at the beach in Venice, and has replaced his dusty cowboy boots with flip-flops, cold beer and volleyball.Robert Harmon(Writer)He is a happily married, Toluca Lake-dwelling, naturally nocturnal, long-distance running, lactose intolerant, rock drumming, Sangiovese drinking, deadball era researching, random pop culture remembering, professional voiceover artist.Peter Frintrup(Executive Producer of Post Production)He hails from the East Coast and now lives the good life in Culver City with his wife, son and miniature cat.
